Design and Product Development Manager

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Design and Product Development Manager to inspire and lead our team of Designer/Developers in creating innovative, high-performance products. In this role, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle—from concept to pre-production—ensuring every product meets Arborwear’s high standards for functionality, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities/Duties: 

  • Lead and Inspire Team: Manage and mentor a team of Designer/Developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and motivation.
  • Oversee Product Development: Guide the end-to-end product design and development process, ensuring all products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and safety.
  • Enhance Processes: Drive continuous improvement in design workflows, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Material Collaboration: Partner with mills and suppliers to source and develop technical materials and trims that meet performance, testing, and cost requirements.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Sourcing team to manage the full development process, ensuring timelines, quality, target costs, and delivery goals are consistently achieved.
  • Align with Brand & Market: Work closely with Sales and Marketing to align products with customer needs while maintaining Arborwear’s brand identity.
  • Industry Insight: Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and industry opportunities to inform and guide product innovation.

  • Leadership Support: Anticipate leadership needs by delivering actionable solutions, strategic insights, and recommendations to ensure the successful execution of product and production plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Product Design or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product design and development, with at least 2 years in a leadership and mentorship role. 
  • Proficient in: Adobe, Excel, Google Sheets, and PLM systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of materials and finishes, construction techniques, and large batch manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills– ability to present well-defined ideas and concepts effectively.

Operations Material Handler

JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: Arborwear is searching for additional Material Handler team members who can perform a variety of work in accordance with procedures such as picking orders, picking production orders, receiving, storage, accounting for inventory and working efficiently with our warehouse operations. 

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Check-in and receive 3rd party/Arborwear products daily. 
  • Verify counts of parts received from production and suppliers.
  • Utilize the company’s automated picking technology for Sales Orders and Production LOTs for internal/external decorating department. 
  • Stack products on pallets.
  • Utilize pallet-jack to move pallets of product throughout the warehouse. 
  • Stock inventory on shelves in designated bin locations.
  • Replenish warehouse inventory to ensure pick-faces are always full of products. 
  • Restock returns.
  • Build boxes for storing or shipping goods.
  • Generate packing lists and shipping labels.
  • Pick orders and assemble them into kits.
  • Coordinate curbsides pick up orders, domestic and international shipments.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory.
  • Break down boxes and place them in a cardboard dumpster daily. 
  • Pull items for Tradeshow/Retail store events. 
  • Report on-time delivery outcomes. 
  • Support operations team with keeping warehouse and inventory neat and organized.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including emptying trash cans and sweeping bays.
  • Assist other departments if needed to ensure all orders/lots are getting out on time daily.
  • Load and Unload truck shipments.

Qualifications: Minimum education and experience required, specific skills or certifications.

Custom Garment Heat Transfer Machine Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Machine Operator to operate and maintain heat transfer equipment for applying logos and designs to garments. The ideal candidate will ensure precision, quality, and efficiency in the production process while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heat transfer machines to apply logos, graphics, and designs to garments.
  • Prepare garments and heat transfer materials, ensuring correct placement and alignment.
  • Monitor machine settings to maintain consistent quality and troubleshooting issues during operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of heat transfer equipment.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
  • Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating heat transfer or similar machines in a production environment is preferred.

IT Support Technician

JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: 

The IT Support Technician serves as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, or in-person. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing guidance on how to use various software and hardware, and escalating more complex problems to higher-level IT staff when necessary. The ideal candidate is an independent analytical person with a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills. The responsibility of this position will be to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot core business applications, including ERP, POS, SFA, PLM, BI and WooCommerce, but not limited to these applications. 

Key Responsibilities / Duties: 

  • Provide technical support to users, addressing issues related to software, hardware, networking, and other IT systems.
  • Assist users in understanding and utilizing various software applications and hardware, including remote assistance when necessary.
  • You must be able to work in different departments and quickly notice the workings of each department.
  • You must learn to understand how the systems work, how each department is part of a flow, and how a change in one department will affect other departments.
  • Serve as a ‘translator’ between end users and software developers.
  • Record and track all service requests and incidents in the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level IT support staff or relevant departments.
  • Define, coordinate, and execute testing procedures of new software developments and fixes.
  • Document new processes/procedures and give necessary training to end users. 
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Work closely with other IT staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient approach to technical support.
  • There will be times when you will assist other departments such as Production and Warehouse. 

Qualifications: 

    • Education: A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
    • Experience: Previous experience at a help desk or technical support role is beneficial. Experience working with an ERP system preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Windows, Mac OS, and/or Linux operating systems.
    • Familiarity with common software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, email clients, and remote support tools.
    • Basic knowledge of hardware components and peripheral devices
  • Soft Skills:

Key Responsibilities /duties: 

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer customer inquiries, provide product information, and offer recommendations to meet their needs.
  • Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the store.
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately, following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
