Production/Scheduling Assistant

JOB SUMMARY The Production/Scheduling Assistant is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and execution of VPO to appropriate lot paperwork to ensure efficient and timely workflows. Working closely with production manager and team members, the role involves tracking project timelines, monitoring and updating production sheets and identify and manage quality control for production garments.Â
Key Responsibilities /duties:Â
- Match VPO’s to the appropriate LOT paperwork and bring into Production Room
- Line up LOTs for machines daily to get production team workload needed for each day
- Create LOT and VPO’s based on company needs based on sales orders.
- Partner and collaborate with sales, operations, decorators, vendors, and production teams to facilitate efficient product order process.
- Identify and resolve production issues (paperwork, location, replacements, scrap)
- Track all production VPOs from FEDEX and UPS on tracking sheets to ensure prompt deliveries to production.
- Monitor and update internal production sheets to ensure production due dates are being met.
- Operate DTF printer as a backup as needed (CobraFlex)
- Operate heat press and embroidery machines (Tajima)
- Identify and manage quality control for production garments.
- Finish or assist with finishing embroidered garments.
- Monitor speed of service & accuracy for process evaluation, opportunities to improve.
- Learn how to create LOT and VPO creation based on company needs.
- Work amongst various teams to identify and sort problems. Must be courteous and empathetic but also direct and focused on solving problems and implement change.
- Learn how to operate the embroidery machine AND heat press to decorate garments.
- Master embroidery machine and heat press settings for best quality outcome.
- Have a great eye for color and attention to detail.
- Confident to get hands on and jump in to help when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong background with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel. Â
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage time well.
- Knowledge of ERP / MRP a plus.
- 2 to 5 years of production experience.
- ERP / WMS system experience.
- LEAN methodology preferred.
Preferred Skills:Â
- Prior experience with a garment decorator, printer or promotional company preferred.Â
Work Environment: Work in office. Possible weekend work. Overtime when needed. Special events.Â

Systems & Data Analyst

JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: As an Arborwear Systems & Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the data integrity of our systems, managing purchase order placements, and providing vital support to our buyers and cross functional teams. Your expertise will help drive our operations and contribute to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
System & Data Integrity:
- Maintain and monitor the accuracy and functionality of ERP systems & related documents such as building parts in our system, staying up to date with costs, payment terms, etc
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with IT and other departments.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all planning and inventory systems.
Purchase Order Placement:
- Oversee the end-to-end process of purchase order creation and management.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order placement
- Monitor order statuses, on time deliveries and partner with team to tackle issues and problem solving
Third-Party Buyer Assistance:
- Collaborate with buyer(s) to understand their needs and requirements for new styles & all aspects of data integrity.
- Provide support in data analysis, forecasting, and planning to aid in their purchasing decisions.
- Assist in the development of strategies to optimize inventory and sales performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field.
- Proven experience in planning, system data integrity or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of planning systems and purchase order processes.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systemsÂ
Work Environment: Full-time position in office.Â
