I have had the opportunity to work with some researchers and assist them in catching rays and sharks. This has been a class of mine since the start of this semester school. So before this picture was taken, we had spotted a Manta Ray, 2 Spotted Eagle Rays, a few Caribbean Reef Shark and we also got to swim with a 7 ft. Nurse Shark. Overall, the hat kept the rays of the Bahamian sun out of my eyes, and made its easier to spot the animals.
